I love the cellophane. That’s a first and very creative. I think the pink goes well with her natural hair color. I like it. She looks like she’s pleased.

I remember my mom used to dye my hair when I was younger… some crazy colors, too. Can’t believe now that she ever agreed to it! Love this pink color, though. It’s subtle but cute!
We were laughing so hard while doing her tips pink using cellophane since I didn’t have any foil and we had already started. It was a mess but worked. She was so excited to dye her tips and bangs pink and it was only temp. for the summer. Honestly it has already washed out, only lasted a week.
Pink is so hip! She looks great:-)

It’s probably good you didn’t use foil, it may have turned out a bit brighter (unless that’s waht you wanted of course) But it turned out really cute. What colorline did you use?

Lisa: It was very subtle which was okay with me but I can say she would have been happier if it was brighter. She wanted a baby pink or hot pink look on the tips and bangs. The back of the bottle said for best color to bleach their hair first and then put in the pink dye, which I wasn’t going to do on my 12yo’s hair. We just went into Sally’s and pick up something pink color, LOL, it was just temp stuff. Literally lasted a week, we have more left.
Julie: I wish I was brave enough to add some color to my hair and I don’t mean blonde or brown. Pink highlights would look great in Vegas during SITScation and BlogWorld, right?

I love it! We did my 8 yr old’s like that last summer. She absolutely loved it too. Just temporary, but it was so cool!
