I recently took this shopping quiz to find out what kind of shopper I am.  With the whole New Year New Me attitude I have going, as I mentioned in my 52 to Fabulous post, I want to try and change up my style some this year.  It’s funny how answering questions truthfully in a quiz can give you an outcome that you honestly relate to.  I know these type of quizzes are just for fun and I’ve seen them for dating, relationships and even what kind of friend or mother you are.  After taking this shopping quiz it was funny how ME the answer really is.  I was told I am a Whimsical Princess.  What’s a Whimsical Princess, you ask? You are a Whimsical Princess, and buy whatever catches your eye in the moment. When you go to the store, you don’t have anything in particular on your “To Do” list and shop strictly on impulse. While you might have a lot of interesting things in your closet, they don’t necessarily match the rest and might be collecting dust.

Oh gosh that is so me.  I am kind of an impulsive person in general and have struggled in that category in the past.  Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not so impulsive that I go into debt by running out and purchasing a new car on a whim or maxing out credit cards without paying my bills.  However I have thought about debt consolidation just for my student loans.  But when it comes to shopping I have been known to purchase an article and then take it back a week later.  Or buy something that I think looks great but never wear it because I am too nervous about it or just don’t feel comfortable enough.  So this year my goal is to actually clean out my closet, take unwanted items to Plato’s Closet for some extra cash and start wearing things that I feel great in.

Maybe I’ll get a new outfit to wear to Blissdom and feel good about not only cleaning out my closet but finding something new to wear as well.  Dressing nice, doing my hair and putting on a little make-up always makes me feel better.  So out with all the sweats and t-shirts.
