First I must say Happy New Year. Can you believe we are starting a new decade? Wow, 2010 already.
I know I’ve been missing for two weeks. I am a little shocked myself to be honest. I walked away from all computers and the internet for two full weeks. I was guilty of checking emails via iPhone and I got on twitter a couple of different days for short periods, but anything that was done was done from my iPhone.
Do I feel guilty? Nope, not. at. all. My blog stats are worse than ever but hey… that’s okay. Let’s just say that life was handing me some lemons and I was not making very good lemonade. So walking away for two weeks to focus on myself was needed. I did lots of deep thinking and reading. Yes I did lots of reading. Matter of fact I have read six new novels. More about that new addiction coming soon.
During this time away while doing all the thinking I have come up with some new life plans and ideas not only for me but for this blog. I can’t wait to jump back in and share everything with my wonderful readers.

We are fortunate enough to be able to get away without leaving the farm! Off to the garden, woodlot, back fields and some times just looking out the window at times! Come back north when you can………the wine is bubbling! Have a great day kiddo. Farmerdad
