Valentine’s with Sprout

While I was at Blissdom this past weekend I got the chance to have breakfast with a few of the PBS Sprout Band of Bloggers.  This was a great experience and I loved not only meeting some of the other women but spending time chatting with them as well!  You can see a list of the other Band of Bloggers listed on Sprout’s website.

A special Valentine’s Day program brings together two dinosaurs in entertainment, literally, with Barney & Dorothy from The Wiggles pairing up for the first time to host Sprout’s Valentine celebration, Sunday Feb. 14 from noon – 3pm ET.  They will read special Valentine messages sent in by viewers, sing songs about friendship, create a few crafts and introduce upcoming episodes. Your kiddos won’t want to miss it!

I’m just loving that the Great Sprout Tuck-In program has joined with the Pajama Program to bring new pajamas and new books to children in need.  What better holiday than Valentine’s Day to open your heart, teach your children how to give and help others in need.  There are several ideas on the website for donating.  You could do something as fun as hosting a pajama sleepover for your children and let each child bring a new nurturing book or new set of warm sleepwear to donate.  You can download the form from the website to ship in your donations or donate right from the site.
