The New Year can bring about bouts of doubt. This is the year to say goodbye to those doubts in your head and hello to a God who knows you are worth much more than that. Sometimes we look in the mirror and aren’t sure what to say, do, or think.
These bible verses will help you get the strength and motivation you need to keep chugging along in 2015, even when you don’t think it’s possible.
Sometimes all you need is a little reminder that God is in control of it all.
But they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint. ~ Isaiah 40:31
Although we need motivation to get through the day, our hearts should still be in the right place.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. ~ Psalms 19:14
Isn’t it wonderful to know that we can pray to God and ask for help and motivation?
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. ~ Psalms 51:10
Even when you wake up with no motivation, just remember that you can all things through Christ.
I can do all things in Him who strengthens me. ~ Philippians 4:13
It’s nice to sit back and reflect and what we can accomplish through God.
But be sure to fear the LORD and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you. ~ 1 Samuel 12:24
Sometimes the type of motivation you need is delivered in the form of peace.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid ~ John 14:27
If you’re going through a hard time and need motivation to get through. Just remember that everything has a season.
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1
No matter what you face this year, just remember that God has a plan!
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. ~ Jeremiah 29:11
Isn’t it wonderful knowing that the pure in heart are blessed?
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. ~ Matthew 5:8
In the end, your salvation is what matters, there’s no need to be afraid, you can make it through! We don’t have to be afraid because the Lord is our light, salvation, and fortress.
The Lord is my light and my salvation – so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? ~ Psalms 27:1
God gives us all of the tools we need to succeed, all we need to do is pray for Him to guide us.
Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. ~ Ephesians 6:13
Remember these ten verses, when you feel as though you need that motivation to get you through that day, minute, or very second.
