I’m excited to be offering this giveaway to one lucky reader of mine just in time for Holiday gift giving. If you have a son, or in my case a daughter who loves them, then you most likely know what Tonka is. Noah even has the outdoor Tonka Dump Truck that he loves to play with. Tonka has been a very popular brand in my household. I have found the toys to be durable, lasting a long time.
About the Strong Arm
Tonka is a brand many are familiar with, especially if you are raising boys. The Strong Arms are big freewheeling vehicles with a multi-action trigger-lever built in. When you pull and rev the lever, the vehicles rumble and create sparks inside the lever arm window. Squeezing the trigger will operate the vehicle’s specific action. The best part is they require no batteries! Nothing but kid power and imagination is needed for hours of fun. The Tonka Strong Arms are the winner of the iParenting Award for Outstanding Product for 2009. We just received word that the Strong Arms won the Dr. Toy’s Guide 100 Best Children’s Products for 2010, the Dr Toy’s Guide 10 Best Active Products for 2010 and Best Pick for 2010 Awards. We are so excited here about this!
Noah is so excited about his Strong Arm Fire Engine. He loves all emergency vehicles along with other big trucks. His father is a police officer so playing with police cars and fire trucks is a normal thing around here. Plus it’s much larger than this photo portrays. I was impressed with the size.
Another thing that Funrise has done that impressed me is the Easy Lock feature on the bottom of the boxes. You just simply twist a locking mechanism that releases the toy out of the box. Not sure about you but that’s the part of Christmas morning I dread. I usually spend all day opening toys from boxes for my three children. Now that T is 13 she gets to help me untwist ties and cut boxes to get the good stuff out for the younger two to play with. My fingers are always sore by the time I’m done and there is always at least one toy that I have such a hard time opening I practically bend my scissors trying to cut through metal wiring.

G loves firetrucks. That’s the one he’d want. But, if we had to pick another, the Tonka Mighty Motorized Loading Sanitation Truck would probably be it. He’s quite interested in garbage trucks lately.
