Sweet ~ It's May

Sweet ~ It's May

The National Blog Posting Month site has declared the month of May’s theme as SWEET.  I love the month of May!  Not only because my favorite season is Spring but because May marks the beginning of summer.  Kids get out of school, you start looking forward to summer camps and vacations.  The weather in Texas during May is perfect for going outside to do things such as festivals, theme parks, water parks or just regular ol’ backyard bar-b-ques.  May is great because the weather isn’t too hot yet but just hot enough to swim!  Also May is the month of Mother’s Day and being a mother myself who could be more excited?  Today being May 1st marks the beginning of Mothers Month.  You can find local celebration events in your area by visiting Mamapalooza.

I am Celebrating National Mom’s Nite Out: the Ultimate Celebration of Motherhood

Another great thing taking place in May is the National Mom’s Nite Out on May 7th.  I’m looking forward to taking part in some festivities that night!
