Sunday Well Spent

I don’t always read my horoscope. I used to receive it daily as an email but not sure what happened there. Now I will occasionally glance at it on my web browser home page. Today happened to be one of those days that I glanced.

It reads…
If anyone deserves some quality time with strictly platonic acquaintances — the kind who want nothing more from you than a couple of good giggles and some intelligent, charming company — it’s you, especially after what you’ve been dealing with lately. All those thoughts about what’s important and what’s not take the fun out of things. Now, however, it’s time to put that behind you and remember what it was like to giggle. Ready or not ….

I have to say I totally agree with this horoscope. I’ve had a lot of stuff going on lately, on and off my social media outlet that has kept me pretty preoccupied. So yesterday it sure was nice to go visit Alyssa and her family at their home. The kids and I swam, we ate pizza and had a good time just hanging out.  Kudos to Alyssa for inviting us over, the kids and I loved it!

Noah had such a blast, once he warmed up to the water he was jumping in and loving it. T used my iPhone to capture this on video and it is my first video to publish using the new iPhone feature.

{I must add: I talked a friend of mine who recently decided to upgrade to the iPhone into switching me. They got my somewhat new 3G and I got their 3GS. Bonus: I wanted the video feature and they could careless.}

Don’t you love Gab in the background of the video “momma, momma, momma” I honestly didn’t hear her the first couple of times, I guess that’s the mother in me being able to block one child out temporarily while helping another, or maybe she just sounds louder in the video than what I could hear in the pool, either way it adds a nice family touch to the video: don’t ya think?

You can also check out my Whrrl story created while at Alyssa’s house including photos of the kids.
