Hello from Scotland

I planned to have my Holiday Gift Guide – Boys Edition posted today.  I wanted to share my gift ideas for boys to go along with yesterday’s Holiday Gift Guide – Girls Edition but unfortunately I ran out of time to tweek it.  I got most of the post complete before leaving TX to head to England but not all of it.  Since Thursday night I flew 8.5 hours on a plane, have taken several underground tubes (subways) and several trains so you could say I have been pretty busy.  Especially since today we left London and went on a 5 hour train ride to Scotland.  It was late by the time we got here so all we did was go out to dinner.  We could see the castle in the distance and several other buildings we can’t wait to get out and visit.  I am so excited.  This country is amazing or as the British would say ‘Brilliant’.

I hope to get caught back up very shortly after arriving back to TX if I can’t find any extra time here.  Right now I am trying to soak up as much of the culture and experience all I can.  I am literally amazed here and love hearing everyone talk.  Not just because of their accents but because of their sayings.  Some things are just completely different than how we talk.  I’ll try to comply a list and post it soon.  Lots to share when I get home.
