London Bridge (Tower Bridge) : Reflection on t...

Right now I am sitting at the airport waiting for my very first flight to another country.  I am so excited.  The furthest I have ever been from the U.S.A. is the Bahamas when I took T on her 6th birthday Disney cruise.  I have always dreamed of going to Paris and even took French in high school.  Although on this trip I won’t have time to visit Paris I am still overly excited.  A good friend of mine, Alan, has invited me to go with him and his family to England.  We are staying in London while we are there and heading over to Scotland for a couple of days.  His sister works for American and was able to get us passes to fly over.  How amazing, right?  I couldn’t pass up a free trip to another country, once in a life time chance.  Plus Alan is such great company, I just love hanging out with him.  He went with me to a couple of conferences lately so I know some of you have met him.  I hope to have internet access while there and update with photos throughout the trip.  I return on next Wednesday but have some posts scheduled to publish while I am gone.  I won’t be on twitter much unfortunately since my iPhone coverage is really expensive over there.  I can’t wait to update with an amazing photo by next Wednesday for sure.

That so exciting, Have a safe Trip and bring lots of pictures. Our Boy Scout is going to England in 2011, we are having fundraisers now to help out with the cost.

Awesome! Have a great time over there, remember to try proper fish and chips and soft drinks with real sugar in!

Just be careful of the chocolate, it’s so much better than American chocolate that I’ve got family bringing some over for Thanksgiving! :D

Yay for Alan! You’re going to have a wonderful time. I lived and studied in London for one semester and spent some time in Scotland while I was there. It was wonderful, and you are going to have an incredible time!
