Giving Back To Moms
The ultimate Stride Rite and Robeez contest which is being run on Facebook from May 3rd through May 10th in celebration of moms. Stride Rite and Robeez are asking all moms to tell them why they are a super mom and include a picture to illustrate their answer.
Beginning this Monday you can enter the Giving Back to Moms contest on Stride Rite’s Facebook Fan Page as well as Robeez’s Facebook Fan Page. Take a moment and go enter the contest, it gives you free range to brag about being a wonderful mother just in time for Mother’s Day.
Thanks to Global Influence and Stride Rite I am able to offer my readers an additional contest right here on my blog. I am giving away one $40 gift card to Stride Rite to one lucky reader for Mother’s Day.
How to Enter:
I have a hard time saying that I’m a super mom even though I know it’s healthy to pat yourself on the back for reassurance you’re doing a good job. Leave a comment on this post telling me ways you take a minute to give yourself credit for all you do.

I take a minute out of the day for myself when my girls are napping. Five minutes on the chair to relax is truly magnificent.
I do my reflecting while I walk my dog. That is my/our time.

I relax the second I walk in the door from work! I need to calm down so I can have energy later to cook dinner and play with the kids before it’s off to bed!
Every day when my daughter naps I spend a little bit of “me time” by reading through blogs.
I like to sit outside on the porch and relax with a good book – after the kids are in bed, of course! Simply being outside by myself helps me recharge.

I taught my daughter to say, “you’re a rockstar!” which we say to each other when I pick her up at the end of the day.
usually at night when my son is asleep i take time for just myself..no dishes, laundry etc…to acknowledge all i have done during the day

For me, relaxing most occurs when I’m running, or in the car. Blessed down time!
Sometimes I get up early in the morning and have a cup of coffee in complete silence! It’s wonderful!

In the evening, after all the kids are asleep and the house is quiet, I give myself a sweet treat and enjoy it while reading a book. I will admit that the house isn’t always spotless and there is always more that needs to be done, but each evening I reward myself for all that I accomplished that day.
