When daily life is so busy, it can be difficult to spend time with our loved ones. So throwing a party is the perfect way to get everyone together! Food, drink, music and games, it’s a chance for everyone to catch up, let their hair down and have a great time. Whether it’s a party for adults or children, here are five fun ideas that everyone will love!
If you want to really impress, and have a statement piece on your buffet table, then a chocolate fountain is something that will go down well with all ages. You could either buy one yourself and put out marshmallows, fruit and other treats that people can put on a skewer and dip in. Or you could hire a chocolate fountain company to come out and do all of the hard work for you! They generally offer different packages so you can tailor it to what you want, with the amount of chocolate and things to dip in. Best of all there’s no hassle to you or mess to clean up afterward.
Not just for the kids, bouncy castles and inflatables are great fun for grown-ups too! If adults are going to be jumping be sure to get an adult sized bouncy castle, these will be bigger and also firmer making it springier and easier for larger people to jump on. Alternatively, you could go with some inflatable sumo suits, an inflatable gladiator game or even a bucking bronco! It’s something just about everyone will enjoy and a little different to your average party!
Since you’ll have all of your loved ones in one place, you’ll want to take plenty of photos to capture the memories. One entertaining way to do this is by setting up a photo booth since it gives people something to do and you also get the pictures at the end of it. You could book a company such as Booth Boy Photo Booths, or even make your own. You will need a plain backdrop such as a wall or a white sheet and plenty of props. Not forgetting a good quality digital camera to get nice clear and crisp photos.
If you’re throwing a children’s party, you could hire someone dressed as their favorite character, a clown, balloon modeler or face painter. If it’s a grown-up party how about a local singer or band, tarot card reader or even a magician specializing in adults parties? It’s a fun way to spend an hour of the party and really helps to take it to the next level.
Again this is something that both adults and children can get on board with. You could set a theme and ask people to dress up according to this, or let it be a free for all! It’s another way to get guests chatting and mingling and is sure to make your party even more memorable.
