Disney Cruise Outfit from Dress Barn

Shopping before a vacation is one of the best parts of traveling.  Not only do you get to experience a trip away from home (sometimes somewhere new) it’s also nice to have new clothes to wear.  Leading up to our Disney Cruise in April I had to shop for each of us.  With it being the beginning of Spring all of the kids had out grown their last year’s clothes and I had actually lost weight since last Spring.

Dress Barn contacted me about reviewing one of their new Spring dresses and I knew that would work perfect on our cruise.  Little did I know, I fell in love with multiple items in the store and bought two more outfits plus a sun hat while I was there.  The quality of their clothes is amazing.  All the material their clothes are made of feels great on your skin and you can tell it’s durable enough to be worn and washed without noticeable wear and tear.

I felt comfortable shopping in their store with the relaxed environment.  The staff was very friendly and helpful.  You could tell they truly enjoyed helping you shop and made sure you found the right fit for your personal style and size.  Dress Barn offered many items ranging in various styles. I actually found a dress I knew my teen would love and plenty of clothes my mom would wear, that’s clothing for three generations without searching.

The first day on the boat we dressed casual.  I was so excited that this outfit I bought at Dress Barn came close to matching the outfit I purchased Gabby at Children’s Place.  The main difference is I went with the pink and purple while she wore purple and blue.  It was exciting for both of us to be dressed matching and we received many compliments.  We have since wore the matching outfits to church.  The skirt has an elastic waist and is so comfortable.  The shirt and short sleeve sweater I matched with the skirt by the help of a store associate and have already worn those separately with capris.

This dress is the one I received as a review item.  I absolutely love it.  T calls this my Penelope dress.  The black heels I wear with it remind her of the ones Penelope wears in the movie.  It fits my body type perfectly which isn’t normally easy to find since I’m short and petite.  You’d be surprised at how much I have to get hemmed if I want it to look right.  I scanned our photos to share with you since I didn’t get a chance to take many photos of myself on the cruise.  After our dinner it was dark out and the deck photos didn’t come out very well.

I will, without a doubt, shop at Dress Barn again.  I signed up for their newsletter and store coupons which I receive weekly.  I love their special offers and have already used a 20% off coupon once.  I do recommend their clothes.

You can follow Dress Barn on Facebook and Twitter to see their new fashions and special offers.

Thanks to Dress Barn I am offering a $25 gift certificate to one lucky reader to do a little shopping preparation for summer.
