Beauty Makeover Day – Mirror Mirror Releases on DVD

I had such a great time traveling to Santa Monica to the press junket for Mirror Mirror.  The movie was absolutely amazing and I am excited for it to release on DVD tomorrow.  The kids and I plan to head to Walmart and buy it on BluRay right away so they can watch it while we are traveling on our road trips this summer.

One of my favorite parts of the press junket was the beauty day.  Mirror Mirror focuses so much on inner beauty lessons since Snow White is so humble she doesn’t even realize her own outer beauty.  Purchasing the DVD of Mirror Mirror and hosting a girls day to pamper yourself would make for a relaxing afternoon and perfect bonding time with your daughter, friends or mother.

Professional Makeup Artists were at the event to do our makeup.  I was very pleased with the subtle makeup hues they used on me.  I normally wear natural colors and do not wear heavy makeup so it was nice to still look like myself when they were finished.  I was beyond pleased with my makeover.  At your girls day you could easily take turns doing makeup on each other.  If you aren’t comfortable doing makeup you could just do mini-facials with mud masks instead.  Everyone could put their own mask on and wash it off.

Mirror Mirror has it’s own Pinterest account with a board dedicated to baked goods that would make perfect treats for your girls day movie viewing party.  You can also check out their other boards for some fashion ideas if you want to make your girls makeover a fashion party and require everyone to dress up.

Don’t forget to download the free iPad app to dress up Snow White from Mirror Mirror.  Do you plan to purchase Mirror Mirror on DVD?  Have your kids seen it yet?
